Tomoka Christian Church

• Joining God's Family class is offered Sunday, Sept 19, at 9:00 a.m. If your child (1st-5th grades) has been talking about accepting Jesus as Savior and wanting to be baptized, please encourage him/her to come to this class. Each child will receive a workbook to take home and review. This is a one-hour class that is designed to help children prepare themselves to make a heartfelt and knowledgeable decision about the Lord. Please let the Wave or Shore leaders know your child would like to participate in Joining God's Family when you check him or her in by writing "Baptism Class" in the special instructions column on the sign in sheet. • Elementary kids who want to “kick it up a notch spiritually” this summer are invited to attend an extra class option. Don Haren teaches a discipleship class for kids at 10:30 am on Sundays. This class does not replace The Shore or The Wave, but is offered as an addition. Please write “extra class” in the special instruction column when you check your child in.

• Parents have the opportunity to lead their children spiritually by taking communion together at the Family Communion Area, located on the north side of the Family Life Center (gym). It is open during normal service hours.

• Kids’ Beach is teaming up with parents! We want to equip you to lead and invest in your child’s spiritual life. On the first weekend of each month, all families will receive a monthly take home bag which will include things to help you as a parent, things to do together as a family, information about what your child is learning each week at Kids’ Beach, the memory verse(s) for the month and other fun things. Our prayer is that your family will take advantage of this take home pack and use it as a resource as you journey together.

•    0-2 years: Quality care and Bible lessons in Rooms 2 and 3 in the Family
       Life Center.
•    3yrs-K: Bible class in Rooms 9-11 in the Family Life Center.
•    1st-2nd grade: Bible class in Room 4 in the Family Life Center.
•    3rd-5th grade options:

• BABY DEDICATION has a new look this fall! A special ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 26, at 3:00 pm. Refreshments will be served. Video will be taken of the event and shared with the congregation the following weekend. Those wanting to dedicate babies should RSVP to reserve a family table.
